Berge Rederi AS is the owner of a fleet of self-discharging bulk cargo vessels from 3700 – 8500 dwt.

All the vessels are self-discharging vessels, equipped with excavator.

Trading area reaches from polar areas to the Mediterranean waters

The company’s main office is located on the island Hitra in Norway, while a branch office is established in the city Trondheim.

Berge Rederi’s goal is to carry out our operations as safe and effective as possible, with as little environmental impact as possible.

The company offers a variety of maritime transport operations.

TransMar AS is Berge Rederi AS’ Management Company.

TransMar AS was founded in year 2000 by M.Sc. Anne Gunn Gabrielsen Berge.

TransMar AS is a DNV certified Ship Management Company, and the Company is both Manager and Operator for all the vessels in Berge Rederi AS’ fleet.

TransMar AS also has the following DNV approvals/licenses:

• The International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM)
• The Maritime Labour Convention 2006 code (MLC)
• The International Ship Security Code (ISPS)
• The Polar Code – for operation in Arctic waters (PWOM)

The Company’s safety management, maintenance and quality systems are developed and maintained by M.Sc. Anne Gunn Gabrielsen Berge.
